Physical, Mental & Emotional
Organized Chaos brings a multi-faceted, wholistic approach to helping you get organized. We recognize that "clutter" exists not only in our physical environments, but in our mental, emotional and spiritual realms also - which ultimately affects our actions and our physical spaces.
Our goal is to set up your environment to work with your lifestyle; not chANge your life to work in an environment.
Organized Chaos does not have a "standard" (or "cookie cutter") organizing method. We bring years of experience as professional organizers to help you find the method that will work the best with your unique lifestyle, habits and beliefs.
"When I hired Organized Chaos, I just wanted help getting my closet in order. Sylvia helped me to do that, but moreover, she really took the time to understand why and how it got into the condition it was in. She then worked with me to come up with a plan for organizing my closet that would "work" with my lifestyle, and help me to keep it organized. Now, two years later, my closet is still in phenomenal shape - perfectly organized and everything is exactly as I need it. Thanks so much!" - Adrienne Cregar Jandler
Dealing with the "stuff you can see" (more clothes than will fit in your closet, chairs being used as tables, things sitting on your kitchen counter, a garage that your car won't fit in, etc.).
Step 1: Declutter.
We work with you to determine what items are "clutter" (anything which does not bring you joy or help you realize your goals).
Step 2: Organize.
We work with you to determine how to organize what you have left.
Step 3: Simplify.
Once you've got your system set up, we help you understand how to maintain it. You'll be wonderfully surprised to find that it will be easy and consistent!
Mental & Emotional
Overcoming the thoughts, beliefs, perceptions and other mental limits you set that impact your physical, emotional and spiritual life. Dealing wtih the feeling of being overwhelmed.
For example, "There is one way to do it", "This will take all day", "I can't do it alone", "There's no way it can be done", "There is no hope", "This will never be different", "I shouldn't be like this", "I should be able to fix this".
Helping you bring congruence to your beliefs and actions. Do you have time to do those things that you feel are spiritually healthy for yourself (such as exercise, pray, meditate, etc.)? If not, what changes need to be made to bring your life into better balance? How does your physical environment contribute to your spiritual state of mind? Is it detrimental? You do not have to choose between having success and a strong spiritual life; you really can have both! Our work with you to recognize yourself includes time to strengthen your spiritual goals, whatever they may be.
"You don't think your way into a new kind of living; you live your way into a new kind of thinking." - Henri Nouwen.
